  1. Possess working knowledge on the instruments to understand Turkey’s economy, its international economic relations, and global economies in their dynamics.
  2. Have ability to recognize and interpret different market conditions and their interactions, and propose original policy suggestions about their workings.
  3. Understand financial markets accurately, follow their recent developments and have the knowledge and skills to respond fast and in accordance with the necessities of the markets.
  4. Form predictions about expected and unexpected short and long-term economic changes.
  5. Have interest in global problems such as poverty, inequality and climate change, and being able to work and propose solutions in these fields.
  6. Possess skills of data reading, processing, analyzing and interpreting.
  7. Possess interdisciplinary research skills.
  8. Have ability to take an active role in interdisciplinary industrial relations.
  9. Understand topics of education, sustainable cities, responsible consumption and production, and developing relevant policies.
  10. Possess necessary skills to understand and make interpretations of new concepts such as big data and smart cities.
